The CUBE Data service is a data warehouse support subsystem that allows for rapid multi-faceted data analysis, has the ability to manipulate and analyze data from different perspectives. Organizing data into cubes overcomes the limitations of relational databases. Such databases are not very well suited for almost instantaneous analysis and display of large volumes of data. Rather, they meet the requirements of creating records through a series of OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) transactions.
